In case of the Articles of Confederation, there had been confusion about the separate and collective powers of the states. There had also been questions raised about the future of the document because of the confusing and incomplete answers given for answering some of the valid questions. There had been the approval of this document in the year of 1781 leading to the framers being confident about collective and mutual decision-making. However, there had not been a benchmark established to keep all the framers and other members of the American government satisfied.
